JPG to SVG, without the JPEG mess

JPEGs are full of compression artifacts: blotchy edges, color noise and halos. Vexorio cleans them up before tracing, so your SVG comes out smooth and flat.

How it works

Three steps. About ten seconds.

No software to install, no account, no learning curve.

1

Drop your image

JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC, PDF and more. Even a blurry logo from an old email works.

2

Compare & fine-tune

Drag the before/after slider and zoom in. Adjust colors, detail and smoothness if you like.

3

Download every format

One payment of $4.95 gets you SVG, PDF, EPS, DXF and a 4K PNG, ready for print, web and machines.

Built for low-quality JPEGs

Logos sent by email, screenshots and images saved from social media are usually heavily compressed JPGs. A naïve tracer turns every artifact into a tiny shape and gives you thousands of messy paths. Vexorio does three things first:

  1. Upscales small images so curves have room to be smooth.
  2. Groups similar colors in a perceptual color space, so the 40 slightly different blues in a JPEG become one blue.
  3. Smooths edges with a majority filter that removes speckles and stair-steps.

Only then are the shapes traced into vector paths.

Which settings to use for JPG

Start with the automatic settings. If the result still has small spots, raise Remove specks. If edges look wavy, raise Smoothness. For a black-and-white logo or signature, choose Black & white, which uses a smart threshold instead of colors.

Tip: JPG has no transparency, so a white background is always there. Turn on Transparent background to drop it from the SVG.

JPG to SVG: FAQ

Is JPG to SVG the same as JPEG to SVG?

Yes. JPG and JPEG are the same format with a different file extension. Both are supported.

My JPG is very small and blurry. Will it work?

Usually yes. Vexorio upscales and cleans small images before tracing. Very tiny or heavily blurred images may lose fine details like thin text, but you can check the free preview before paying.

Can I convert a photo to SVG?

You can. Choose Poster mode for a stylized, flat-color result. Photos never become photorealistic vectors; that is the nature of vector graphics.
